Dear Willowbrook Friends and Family,
Willowbrook campers danced, sang, painted and sculpted their way through our six weeks in 2012, igniting their powers of creativity. As we come to the end of another great year, we want to take this opportunity to say how much we appreciate having you as part of the Willowbrook community. It's a blessing to have your children celebrate nature and the arts with us every summer.
At camp, sometimes we "ask" for cooler or wet weather when it finally gets up into the 90s (and sometimes the 100s, too!) with our assembly rainstorm recreation. Moms and Dads - ask your Artisans, they will probably know what we're talking about! In the wet darkness of December in the Pacific Northwest, this request seems rather looney!
There is wide ranging support for the magic of Willowbrook; from individuals to families to regional organizations. All of what we do is an outgrowth of this rooted knowledge and belief that our children are a wellspring of potential and hope. So, from our hearts, thank you for all you do for Willowbrook. We couldn't exist without you!
Whether your holiday celebrations include candles, trees, presents, snowmen, tropical vacations or skiing vacations - We wish you peace and happiness in 2013 and look forward to seeing you at Browns Ferry Park next summer!
