Ages 3-4
We offer a place for our youngest campers that is nestled in our Village area. This smaller creative space is fenced in, to assure it is just the right size for our Squirrels to have room to explore and choose activities without feeling overwhelmed.
We offer half or full day options for a semi scheduled experience with lots of freetime built in. More structured than our older age groups, these budding artists are guided through a variety of interactive activities that foster their curiosity, discovery and creative expression.
Squirrels also have opportunities to participate in our special evening performances alongside fellow Villagers and Artisans!
Squirrel's Nest (3-4)
Each morning and afternoon, the Squirrel’s Nest offers a structured art project that explores a variety of mediums such as paint, clay, or paper college. Campers use their imagination to create their very own masterpiece!
Lively songs, dances, and costumes encourage campers to move to the music! Each week, the Squirrel’s visit our Artisan Dance and Folk Dance stages for extra special dance games and activities.
Fairytales, adventures, and silly characters - during circle time each day, the Squirrels use their imagination while listening to our staff of lively storytellers.
Using costumes, puppets, props, and their imaginations, our Squirrels have ample opportunities for pretend play with friends. Our Squirrels also have the opportunity to participate in our weekly all-camp performances (with the helping hand of a Squirrel’s Nest staffer to join them on stage). If your Squirrel is interested in being in a Willowbrook play, please click the link below for more information.
Whether it’s with Squirrel’s Nest staff or a visit from our beloved Artisan Music Specialist, Silly John, little campers learn camp sing-along favorites. These performances are loved by all!
Our Squirrels love exploring the beautiful setting of Brown’s Ferry Park on their group nature walks! Campers often stop to collect pine cones, draw with sidewalk chalk, and learn about our local flora and fauna.
